Hedge Fund Investments

This course will introduce the features of hedge funds, their structures, their risk and return profiles, and diversification benefits of hedge fund investments. Learners will consider the five main types of hedge fund strategies, including equity-related, event-driven, relative value, opportunistic, and multi-manager strategies, and examine key sub-strategies within each of them. Investment professional will learn about performance appraisal issues for hedge funds, and hedge fund returns – their calculation and interpretation, and how to perform due diligence of hedge funds as a systematic process. The course includes several short “Practitioner Perspectives” videos presented by seasoned hedge fund experts.
